The platform aims to establish a unified European digital payments ecosystem, positioning itself as a cost-effective and strategically independent alternative to global payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard or PayPal.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Wero plans to integrate loyalty and pay-later options<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>According to the EPI, 40 million consumers across Belgium, France and Germany have already installed the Wero app. \u00a0Wero is primarily known as a peer-to-peer digital wallet enabling account-to-account instant transfers. The payment solution is progressively introducing new features such as e-commerce and in-store transactions, while also supporting value-added services such as loyalty integration or buy-now-pay-later options.<\/p>\n<p>Wero is currently following a roadmap which includes a wider roll-out of its solution into physical stores and e-commerce channels over the upcoming quarters.
