The DIY retailer, which has its roots in Germany and is headquartered in Switzerland, has rolled out nShift\u2019s delivery management solution across its operations in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. Bauhaus had previously tested the software in Finland and Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>nShift\u2019s solution automatically selects connected carriers based on rules predefined by Bauhaus. The retail company is able to manage returns via the platform and track the entire delivery process seamlessly across stores, transport companies and countries. Bauhaus is thus laying the foundations for scalable e-commerce growth, with the aim, according to nShift, of processing around 750,000 online orders per year via ship-from-store in Sweden, Finland and Estonia in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The technological backbone of Bauhaus\u2019s ship-from-store processes is the integration of nShift with Reflex\u2019s warehouse management system. In this setup, the delivery management platform controls the dispatch logic and communication with the shipping service providers. Reflex monitors and optimises the storage and picking of goods.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Store becomes a fulfilment hub<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>A2B Solutions, an implementation specialist for fulfilment solutions, selected nShift for the project at Bauhaus in the Nordics and supported the roll-out. Previously, A2B Solutions had supported the implementation of Reflex, which was initially tested at the retailer\u2019s sites in Norway and Sweden. With this software stack, Bauhaus has created a scalable omnichannel system in the Nordics that can be rolled out to stores in other markets beyond its locations in Sweden, Finland and Estonia.<\/p>\n<p>Unlike in its stores in Sweden, Finland and Estonia, Bauhaus does not use ship-from-store in Denmark.
