Zalando\u2019s logistics unit will take charge of order picking and packing, shipping and the handling of returns. The British retailer has thus expanded its collaboration with Zalando beyond the fulfilment of marketplace orders to include its own European online shops.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to the Europe-wide launch, Marks &amp; Spencer tested Zeos\u2019 services in Poland in August 2026. Demand there rose by 22 per cent in the first week. Following the trial, the retailer rolled out the solution to other European markets, including its largest online shops in France, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain.<\/p>\n<p>Zeos operates as a logistics and technology platform. At the heart of the solution lies a centrally managed stock. From this, Zalando\u2019s logistics unit processes orders for fashion, home accessories and cosmetics via its Europe-wide fulfilment network. This enables Zeos to allocate goods flexibly across the various online channels and deliver them quickly to customers.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Poland pilot reduces delivery costs and speeds up returns<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWe have a clear aim to expand our international business and make M&amp;S and its range accessible to even more customers worldwide,\u201d explains Mark Lemming, Managing Director International at M&amp;S. \u201cThrough our partnership with Zeos, we can improve speed, availability and service for our customers whilst creating a more efficient and scalable platform for our continued growth in Europe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to Zalando\u2019s logistics unit, delivery costs in the pilot in Poland have fallen by up to 58 per cent. In addition, the service provider has reduced the processing time for returns by up to 77 per cent. As a result, returned items are back in stock more quickly.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>From a marketplace solution to a logistics model<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Marks &amp; Spencer has been working with Zalando Fulfilment Solutions since 2022. Initially, the service provider handled orders placed by customers via Zalando, About You and Amazon.
