Manufactum has brought the restaurant operations of its Brot&Butter outlets onto the same POS software as its retail business to provide its customers with an end-to-end shopping experience: GK Software now covers hospitality functions in its standard solution, enabling it to meet the requirements of retail restaurants.<\/p>\n

Manufactum has also implemented GK Software’s POS software in the restaurant operations of its Brot&Butter outlets. Guests can now pay for their consumption at the table together with their purchase of counter goods. The scales used at the counters are also fully integrated into the solution.<\/p>\n

Typical requirements of restaurants such as assigning orders to tables, supplying counter or kitchen printers, splitting tables when paying, forming subtotals, handover at shift change and tip recording are standard features of the GK software platform from Release 5.17.<\/p>\n

An integrated solution<\/h3>\n

Manufactum relies on GK solutions throughout all its business divisions and sales lines and now also uses them for the catering area of Manufactum Brot & Butter. Jens Braida, project manager of the Manufactum Group, explains: “We offer our customers an end-to-end restaurant and shopping experience without any breaks.”<\/p>\n

For the small but fine retail company, it is extremely important to keep the number of software solutions used, and thus the effort, low. “This also applies to fiscalisation,” explains Braida”, “which we implemented with Deutsche Fiskal’s cloud solution.” Deutsche Fiskal is a subsidiary of GK Software.<\/p>\n

GK Software provides the new functionalities as ‘GK Hospitality’ in addition to a solution ‘GK Drive’ optimised for petrol stations as a supplement to its Cloud4Retail platform. As well as reducing complexity, this will simplify an overarching customer approach and company-wide promotions and loyalty campaigns across all touchpoints.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
