Dr. Max digitalises shelf labelling with VusionGroup

Pharmacy operator Dr. Max has chosen VusionGroup’s solutions to digitalise the shelf labelling in its approximately 1,000 stores across six countries. The technology is already being implemented in 220 stores and is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. VusionGroup’s Value Added Partner, S&K, is implementing the technology on site.

The VusionCloud solution will enable Dr. Max to centrally control and display prices and promotions in pharmacies in a fully automated manner. This will reduce the number of manual tasks, allowing pharmacy staff to focus more on providing professional customer service. The cloud solution will also monitor and manage connected devices in stores.

“VusionGroup’s innovative solutions help us to simplify and modernize how our pharmacies operate — from daily workflows to the way we engage with customers and patients”, says Branislav Chmela, Group Retail Operation Officer at Dr. Max. The pharmacy operator will also use VusionCloud to implement the group’s electronic shelf labels in all its stores. These will be seamlessly integrated with the existing Cisco-Meraki wireless infrastructure.

Europe’s second largest pharmacy operator

These include the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Italy, Serbia and Poland. The company also operates in the eras of wholesale, distribution and marketing in eleven other countries.
