Puma’s Stichd operates pop-up stores with GK’s Retail 7

The textile manufacturer Stichd, which specialises in fan articles, is operating its new Formula One merchandising stores with POS software from Retail 7. The Puma subsidiary has recently started selling fan products in pop-up stores at the Formula One racetracks. By using Retail 7’s POS software, Stichd aims to optimise the sales processes in the official merchandising stores. The lean architecture of the cloud-based Retail 7 solution provides the company with the necessary flexibility for the short-lived stores.

This year’s Formula One season will take place in more than 20 countries. Fiscalisation must be carried out individually for each country according to national regulations. Retail 7 ensures that the different tax regulations in each region are complied with. At the race in Bahrain, around 50 cash registers were in operation at eight points of sale. At future Formula One racetracks, up to 600 POS terminals may be used during a race weekend. Retail 7 technology ensures seamless integration and fast transaction processing.

“We are excited to partner with Retail 7. Together, we have a collective goal to deliver a premium user experience using the most innovative high-speed checkout processes and providing ease to store employees,” says Nina Nix, CEO Stichd.

Seamless integration is convincing

The GK subsidiary Retail 7 is currently represented in nine countries and on four continents. The POS software provider plans to be present in more than 20 countries by the end of the year. In December 2023, fashion company Strellson AG has chosen Retail 7 as its POS software provider. The company was impressed by the standardised user interface on all devices and the seamless integration capability of the solution were convincing.
