The companies 4POS (Switzerland) and Pan Oston (Netherlands), which joint forces Pan Oston Holding, supplied more self-checkouts to retailers in German-speaking countries in 2024 than all other suppliers combined, according to Datos Insights. Diebold Nixdorf ranked second among suppliers of self-checkouts, followed by Swedish shopfitting and checkout giant Itab, which secured third place.
