Freiburg-based retailer and baker Johannes Ruf has installed self-checkouts (SCO) from Diebold Nixdorf in his new Beckesepp store in Waltershofen. The systems use AI technology to automatically recognise fruit and vegetables as well as perform age checks on restricted goods.
