Swiss market leader Migros has launched a new fulfilment centre for online orders in Regensdorf, featuring automation solutions from Knapp. The site will be able to process up to 7,500 orders per day in future. Migros Online will handle goods receipt, storage, order picking and dispatch in one location.

Skechers is building Europe’s largest footwear distribution centre in Liège, Belgium. The centre will use automation technology from Knapp. The facility will fulfil orders from stores and end customers across Europe. Spanning around 230,000 square metres, the site is expected to handle up to ten million pairs of shoes per month and offer over 3.3 million storage locations.

Matalan is further expanding its distribution centre in Knowsley near Liverpool with automation technologies from Knapp. The British fashion and homeware retailer has been relying on scalable solutions from the Austrian intralogistics specialist since 2021.

Woolworths has opened its first largely automated fulfilment centre in western Sydney, equipped with technology from Knapp. The Australian supermarket operator expects to be able to process up to 60,000 online orders per week in future.

Together with service provider Arvato, Douglas has put an automation solution from Knapp into operation at its new central warehouse in Hamm. After a 25-month implementation phase, the solution is set to largely automate order processing for the retailer’s stores and online business in the DACH region.

The autonomous grocery store of the Rewe Group subsidiary is located at the EnBW fast charging park for electrical cars in Bispingen, Lower Saxony.
