There was a jubilant atmosphere last night at Dr. Thompson's Seifenfabrik in Düsseldorf: top IT managers from leading retail companies such as Colruyt Group, Coop Sweden, Globus, Kaufland, Koçtaş, Lekkerland, Netto Marken-Discount, Rossmann, Sonae, and many more celebrated together with their technology partners.

Thalia is introducing the order management software from Fulfillmenttools as part of its Log2025 logistics strategy. Implementation partner for the project is Adesso. The book retailer aims to use the new platform to make its omnichannel processes more efficient and deliver online orders directly from its stores.

Thalia is optimising its supply chain processes with Relex software. Its AI-based solutions for forecasting and replenishment are designed to improve availability of goods in stores and distribution centres. Capgemini is implementation partner for the project.

Thalia is the market-leading omnichannel bookseller in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. With the installation of self-checkout terminals – as an addition to the manned cash register – the bookstore specialist wants to improve the shopping experience for customers and streamline internal processes.
