Rewe Group Lekkerland goes live with Smart Fridges from Reckon.ai

Lekkerland has deployed its so-called 'Smart Shop' concept in live operation for the first time. In the newly opened Rewe Ready container store at the EnBW loading park in Lichtenau, near Chemnitz in the German federal state of Saxony, the Rewe Group company implemented smart fridges from Portuguese specialist Reckon.ai.

Lekkerland opens autonomous store Rewe Ready with Latebird

Lekkerland, in cooperation with energy supplier ENBW, opened the first fully automated unmanned container store named Rewe Ready end of September. The autonomous grocery store of the Rewe Group subsidiary is located at the EnBW fast charging park for electrical cars in Bispingen, Lower Saxony. The store's technology originates from Paderborn-based company Latebird.
