NCR and Toshiba present scanless self-checkouts for small baskets

This week, at NRF’s Big Show, Toshiba and NCR presented scannless self-checkouts that use computer vision and AI to automatically identify multiple products simultaneously, so-called ‘bulk scanning’. Toshiba’s MxP Vision Kiosk and the NCR Voyix Halo Checkout, which works with product recognition software from Everseen, aim to enable a fast and convenient checkout.

Colruyt installs self-checkouts with Toshiba and Pan Oston

Belgian Colruyt Group has started to equip stores of its Okay, Okay Compact and Spar Colruyt Group banners with self-checkout systems.
