Esselunga launches retail lab with Trigo and Diebold Nixdorf

Esselunga has opened a 600 square metre test centre in Milan with a Grab & Go store and a cafeteria to enable agile testing of technologies and design concepts. The Italian retail company is testing a scanless store in its Esselunga Lab, which is equipped with technology from Israeli provider Trigo.

Reta 2022: Edeka’s Netto wins twice with Trigo and Tiliter

Edeka's Netto Marken-Discount was able to secure two prizes at EHI's Reta Awards 2022, the winners of which were announced today. The teams around Netto CIO Claus Leitl won firstly with their Pick&Go branch in Munich's Schwabing district. They won a second prize together with Tiliter for the automatic recognition of products without barcodes such as fruit and vegetables.

Rewe tests autonomous checkout with Trigo Vision

Rewe is the first German full-range food retailer to test shopping without payment at the checkout. The technology, called Pick&Go, has been tested with employees in a Cologne supermarket since the beginning of May and is expected to become available to all shoppers in late summer. Rewe Digital developed the solution with the computer vision specialist Trigo Vision from Israel.
