Luis Lamshöft has joined Migros Supermarkt AG as Head of AI & Robotics Strategy. In 2024, the Migros Group consolidated key functions for all grocery stores across all its cooperatives within Migros Supermarkt AG. In his new role, Luis Lamshöft will also focus specifically on the automation of the Swiss market leader’s distribution centres.

Swiss market leader Migros has launched a new fulfilment centre for online orders in Regensdorf, featuring automation solutions from Knapp. The site will be able to process up to 7,500 orders per day in future. Migros Online will handle goods receipt, storage, order picking and dispatch in one location.
