In Germany, Rewe Group has equipped a first Penny store in Eching with SmartFix from Wanzl. The Smartphone holder at the shopping trolley secures customers’ devices during shopping. Edeka stores will also install the system.

In a pilot store, Tegut is testing to sell an assortement of 800 articles around the clock. The subsidiary of Migros Zurich relies on solutions from Wanzl, Snabble and Pan Oston in its T-Box for access control, self-scanning, anti-theft protection and check-out. Further stores are planned for autumn.
