At two commuter stations in the greater Munich area, Deutsche Bahn is testing convenience vending machines from Glory with high-quality goods from Munich-based specialist Bite Delite. The stock is managed centrally taking the sell-by-dates into account. Commuters can reserve goods from a responsive website and pay in advance.

Drugstore company dm optimises cash handling in the cash office with systems from Glory. The retailer has already equipped 1,000 stores with CI-100 cash recycling devices from the Japanese specialist supplier.

A nine-member independent jury has selected this year's winners of the Reta Awards on behalf of the EHI Retail Institute. Winners in five categories include retail companies such as E.Leclerc, Edeka, Fressnapf, Ikea, Rewe, Salling Group and Tegut.
